Everyone knows Pokon. But that’s not very surprising, as Pokon has been around since 1929. The green bottle with a yellow cap has long been part of most households. In 1929, Herman Pieter Bendien developed the first Pokon formula together with the then Dutch national horticultural consultant Ir. Bloemsma. The name Pokon has a direct link with this formula, because it represents the chemical composition P2O5 – K2O – N2. Also known as phosphorus (P), potassium (K) and nitrogen (N).

Over the years Pokon expanded significantly, allowing it to offer a variety of quality products, such as plant protection products, grass seed and soil. The roots of Pokon now extend far beyond the Netherlands.
